About Me
My early experiences assisting my grandmother, who lived with dementia, ignited a profound passion for geriatric care. This personal connection fueled my pursuit of a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at York University and ultimately a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Throughout my academic and clinical training, I consistently sought opportunities to work with older adults. My clinical experience encompassed diverse settings, including long-term care facilities at Baycrest Hospital and the Salvation Army, acute care at St. Michael's Hospital, and geriatric rehabilitation at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, part of the University Health Network.
These experiences have allowed me to develop the strengths and tools needed to provide seniors with the care they need and deserve, with a focus on the management of chronic conditions, post-injury rehabilitation, and the promotion of functional independence. My practice is characterized by a patient-centered approach, grounded in evidence-based principles and driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for my clients.
